3Dhotbed is a collaborative new project led by faculty from the University of North Texas and Texas A&M University Libraries that seeks to make historical recreations of certain tools and implements used in book history instruction more easily accessible for pedagogical purposes.

Courtney Jacobs

Courtney Jacobs received her MSLIS from Syracuse University. She is a Special Collections Librarian at the University of North Texas Special Collections where she manages the department’s public service elements and in-house digitization program. She has developed and delivered multiple lectures and workshops on book history and printing history utilizing primary source materials in support of teaching faculty’s curriculum and learning outcomes.

Kevin M. O’Sullivan

Kevin O’Sullivan serves as the Curator of Rare Books & Manuscripts at Cushing Memorial Library & Archives, Texas A&M University, where he also directs the Book History Workshop.  He received his MSIS from the University of Texas at Austin, and is currently working toward his PhD in English at Texas A&M University.

Marcia McIntosh

Marcia McIntosh  received her master’s in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Information.  She is the Digital Production Librarian at the University of North Texas where she assists in the coordinating, management, and training necessary to create digital collections.
